My gladiator sandal

:D A quite overdue post, hehe…
Anyway, this is my new footwear bought 2 weeks ago at Zara. The shop had their 50% off sale that time and good thing I spotted this gladiator sandal…

I love it! There were only few pairs left and luckily one of them was my size. After trying it, I didn’t put it down anymore as there were lots of people checking it too… :) I wanted to get few tops also but the size either big or too small for me. Also, I saw some corsets but those left were not good anymore.. So I got that sandal only. Well, a nice buy for the coming Spring/Summer season…

By the way, I love my shots above. I tried the photo tips I previously read and turned nice.. :)

TGIF!

It’s such a nice Friday morning! Well at least for me, hehe… Though I woke up late (almost 6am) with my scheduled morning call time (3am), still my morning has been productive and really great! Done with couple of household chores and was able to grab online tasks… yezz! Now I need to finish other pc work quickly as we’re going out in a while to check for a house. Yes, we’re moving again soon… :) and this time for cost cutting purposes. One big point was our transportation expenses. Hopefully we could find lesser rental fee and almost the same size as what we have right now. And you know moving to a new house makes me feel excited when I think of doing some house decors like putting Window Blinds instead of curtains but the annoying part is the packing and unpacking of things, yay! So I guess we need to do it early and plan accordingly.

Okies… it’ll be a long and maybe tiring Friday for us. I’ll blog few more though for some overdue post and I’m out… :)

Happy Weekend everyone!

Scrapping update

Before I dig into checking who’s wine of the month let me give you an update on my scrapping department. I haven’t talk about this for quite a while… and yes it’s been 2 months since I made some layouts. I miss scrapping definitely but I have creativity problems lately … I got LOTS of photos though that’s waiting for me but no creative mojo coming out… argh! And with that, I finally decided to step down from my creative teams :( …. It’s such a hard decision for me but looks like I cannot do my duty anymore plus I don’t have much scrapping time lately. I’m still going to create layouts but I guess I need to regain the enthusiasm that I use to have on scrapping first. It’s totally lost and one reason that’s why I cannot finish even one layout. Now that I don’t have any CT responsibility, I hope can slowly do my pending albums. And hopefully soon I have my photo book also..

Lai See Packet

My son received this 2 red envelope or what they called here Lai See Packet yesterday as one of Chinese New Year traditions…
Lai See

In Chinese society, a red envelope or red packet / red pocket (Known as Hong Bao in Mandarin, Ang Pao in Hokkien and Lai See in Cantonese, and “li` xi`” in Vietnamese) is a monetary gift which is given during holidays or special occasions.

Have a great day!

Make-up goodies

My twitter/online friends have been into make-up shopping lately and I joined too… :) If there’s a cheap beauty salon franchise just like on auto parts franchises for sale then maybe we can put one, haha… a good business idea huh!

Anyway, when I was an office girl few years ago, I rarely put full make-up. I usually have powder, lip gloss, light eyeshadow only. But now that I’m a SAHM, I put very light coverage only whenever we go out or have some school activities. If you’re going to ask if I know how to put make-up, well honestly NO!… and I want to learn of course.

EM purchases:
Last November 2008, same online friends introduced me with minerals make-up. I bought Free Sample Makeup kit from Everyday Minerals and after 2 weeks I got it. Here they are:

Everyday Minerals Everyday Minerals
Unfortunately, I picked the wrong shades for myself, haha! (See I know little about makeup eh!) It’s too dark. I asked advice from Kathy, and she gave me recommendations as to what shades to get. So I have another sample order at EM. :) plus I bought their Kabuki brush.

ELF purchases
Who can’t resist the items at ELF? Almost everything is $1, LOL! About a week ago there was make-up shopping madness at ELF over twitterland… and I got the following for myself:

concealer and eye shadow brush:

Super Glossy Lip shine- Pink kiss; Eyelash Curler; Waterproof eyeliner pen- coffee

Duo Eyeshadow cream: butter pecan and mocha swirl shades…

That’s it, not much. :) I wanted to limit my shopping at $5 but it’s so hard to resists some $1 goodies, haha…

I guess these are all enough for me. I seldom put make-up so I think these are only things I needed for now, hehe.

Can’t wait for my make-up goodies to arrive…

Today’s Flower

today's flower

I don’t know the name of this flower :) I found them very colorful and beautiful especially in bunches and in different colors. I took this shot last week while strolling around Flower Market. :)

Thanks for looking. Have a great Monday to all…

Check here for more beautiful flowers.

New bag for me…

:) It’s only 1st month of 2009 and shopping has been one of my activities, YAY! :D Well, as you may know 1st day of January we do shopping but that was planned purchases since the husband has been looking for new shoes. And that day there were different sales so we grabbed the chance… And eventually Migs and I were able to get new (rubber) shoes as well, LOL! By the way, speaking of planned purchases, that’s my husband way of shopping. Big amount but one-time money down and budget will not be affected. But I guess girls have different way eh! LOL!

Anyway, so what’s my recent buy? :) Look below….  Yes!  this Coach bag:

photo grabbed from Yen.

Can’t wait to see this. :) I love bags but I seldom buy designer bags. So this is my first and truly expensive bag, haha! I bought this from Yen. She’s selling some of her stuff a week ago and she has a nice offer on this coach bag plus the fact it’s still new and never use so I grabbed it. It’s my birthday next month so I considered this a gift for myself. At first I thought of some geek stuff as gift but since the husband and I have the same passion on camera and computer, he can just provide it all, LOL! I thought of weight loss pills too as I badly needed to shape myself but I’m afraid it might have a different consequence especially I’m taking meds for my PCOS. So bottom line, I feel I deserve to have this bag, hahaha….

Next purchases, make-up goodies… :D and that needs a separate post … Stay tuned.
