I need to lose weight :)
“You gained weight” …. That was the comment of one of my friends whom I met last weekend. The last time we saw each other was 2 months ago and she noticed how big I am today, hahaha…. I admit I gained so much from the past months. No exercise and I kept on eating while working, LOL! Then come holidays, I’m sure lots of food to eat so I guess I badly needed any best appetite suppressant. Plus the fact that I’m not allowed to be overweight due to my spine problem. One reason that I’m having this back pains almost everyday and it’s killing me…
Well, I’m starting to reduce my rice intake. I cut it off at night and as replacement I have oatmeal. I hope I can stick to this. I’ve done for 2 days already hopefully will last, hehe…
Lots of sale…!
I can’t stop browsing different online stores and check what best deal they have for the coming black Friday sale. 
Can you feel my excitement? Hahaha…. I’ve seen more of electronic products on sales, from cameras to computers to different gadgets…. And I could say it’s really tempting… Well, I won’t really buy a lot…. just few items as Christmas gift and believe it nothing for me…. (just because I’m done shopping for myself, LOL!)
On digital world, there are also sale on digital kits and goodies… I’ll try to check later and do some listing here…. I might get few stash that I needed as I’m preparing my son’s birthday few months from now… hehe…
Craft Stick Christmas Tree Ornament
I was browsing different weight loss products when I remember I have to check homemade Christmas decorations as one of my son’s project in the next 2 weeks. They need to bring materials and do the 3D decors in school. I found this Craft stick Christmas Tree ornament interesting. Looks easy and I’m sure the kids will have fun.
Materials and the steps are written below in case you’d like to do it at home. I printed out this procedure and we might try to do it first before my son share it in school… I guess this makes a very nice Christmas tree décor…. 
What you’ll need:
1 jumbo craft stick
5 regular craft sticks
Green and brown craft paint
12” yarn or ribbon
1 gold glittery chenille stem
½ silver glittery chenille stem
25-30 colored sequins
Paintbrush
Scissors
White craft glue
How to make it:
1. Cut one of the regular craft sticks in half. Put aside.
2. Cut half an inch off of each end of two of the regular craft sticks, discard cut ends.
3. Paint the jumbo craft stick brown.
4. Paint the uncut craft sticks (2), the half craft stick pieces (2), and the trimmed craft sticks (2) the color green. Allow all craft sticks to dry.
5. Glue the green craft sticks horizontally onto the brown craft stick (trunk), starting with the longest sticks at the bottom and working your way upward. Try to space them out evenly. Allow the glue to dry.
6. Bend silver chenille stem into the shape of a star. Trim excess if needed.
7. Cut the gold chenille stem into four pieces, each one smaller than the other (4.5”, 3.5”, 2.5”, 1.5”).
8. Curve each of the gold chenille stems and glue them onto the tree as garland. Start at the bottom, gluing the longest piece in place. Next, move up and glue the second longest piece, and so on.
9. Glue the silver chenille star to the top of the tree.
10.Use the white craft glue bottle tip to dot on glue in various spots on the green craft sticks. Place sequins onto the glue dots and set aside to dry.
11.Turn the ornament over and glue a looped piece of yarn onto the back for the hanger.

some Holiday to dos
It’s 41 days before Christmas!!!
As we are getting closer to December, the more I’m getting excited for the holidays. However, as I’m thinking about it I’m overwhelmed with lots of things in mind that I wanted to accomplish before we hit December, LOL! Like for instance, an out of town holiday vacation is in our list. The husband said we can probably go this time since he can take a long office leave. If we can find the same deals like the ones in myrtle beach vacation rentals that would be a nice family treat. Hopefully we can book one as soon as possible. Another thing that I need to accomplish is our Christmas card, which we’re sending yearly to our close friends and relatives. That means we need to take a family photo before November ends so I can do the photo card and have it printed and send 1st week of December….. Ahhh, those are just few of the holiday to dos I have. It’s good though I’m done shopping for the big guys’ gift.

Books for gifts
I was looking for a nice Christmas present to one of my close friends. I’m choosing between bag and wallet or maybe perfume. But I know she has all this stuff already. Just then I remember she’s fond of reading books and even searching for the hardcover of the New Moon Collectors Edition book…. Problem solved and that gave me an idea… So I browsed Amazon books and voila I found it:
Haha… and I was thinking of getting a cooking book as well for another friend.
I guess books are great for gifts! And as for me I’m happy to receive one…
A price beater
Though black Friday sale is yet to come, I’ve seen some online shops offering discounts already with their items. And I was thrilled when I saw this Samsonite luggage 5-piece set which is 75% off from the original price…
A big deal indeed! It was only the other day when hubby and I was just discussing about buying new luggage as we’re looking forward for a trip next year. And since we knew that during holidays there are lots of sale going on we’re actually thinking of buying a set for us, and yes including a kid traveling bag. And then I saw this great deal from Samsonite, wow! Nice huh!
OH I’m sure everyone is getting excited for the black Friday sale soon, hahaha!
Workout again
I promised myself I’ll start my workout this November… haha… I stopped 2 months ago and I could really see the weight I gained… not good at all, tsk tsk… I also received our complimentary card for 3 months Yoga & Fitness service so maybe this is a sign already that I need to go back on my regular exercise… I believe the fitness centre that offered this promotion has a complete exercise machines… not sure though if the offer includes Kettlebell training, which I know a good way for burning fat and increasing strength and stamina… Anyway, I will register soon and hopefully I can continue and finish the 3 months session… goodluck to me!
Sunday peek
Yesterday while my boys were taking their nap, I was able to work online haha… Well actually the husband said I should take a rest too but I can’t sleep that time. So instead of lying in bed thinking of so much things, I prefer to do some pc work.
First, I was able to check some beauty tips and browse different skin care products. Actually I’m searching for a nice moisturizer that’s perfect for the coming winter. I’m reading some feedbacks from the forum and other recommendations. It was a nice reading actually and I got a lot of tips. I even stumbled best eye cream for wrinkles while hunting… so now that I have my list, I just need to check stores here if they’re available and how much it cost…
Next stop and the boys still asleep, I visited my old scrap stash sitting on my 250GB EHD. And WOW I have so much stuff in there. Imagine the available space left is 123.23GB and that means to say those digital supplies eating half of my EHD, haha. No photos stored here as we have saved it on another EHD… So I think it’s time to delete old files especially those 2007 that I know I won’t be able to use anymore, tsk tsk… and make room for new kits that I’ve saved, hahaha…. I need to delete also the .psd files of my layouts, which has a big size as well… Uh oh, this sure a big work and need time to focus on… haha. I guess I have to set one weekend for all these stuff.
So aside from that, I spent the rest of my time net surfing and blog hopping…
Well not much for our Sunday afternoon. As soon as my boys woke up, we had snacks and bonding to the max… hihihi… turned out to be a great weekend!
