As 2009 ended…
Scrapping wise, I haven’t done any layout for 2009. 
And my project that I kept on mentioning such as the photobook has never done either. However it’s still on my list and if ever I’ll start creating again that will definitely be the first. I didn’t stop hunting for freebies though. So after checking this motorhome towing, I’ll scour the digi land and check few stash. I’m actually be hunting for 2010 calendar. A bigger one this time so I can just print it at once. I’ll share it here once I found one… Ciao for now!
on car insurance
As New Year comes, I’m sure a lot of expenses already lined up. One major thing would be paying car insurance. Others might be ignoring this especially if you have the old car but then this insurance not only helps pay for accident expenses, but it can also cover life-saving medical costs, too. So it still important to have one as much as possible. For others that have an existing car insurance already, they do some minor changes to make their coverage better and most likely pay lower premium. Whatever changes or decisions you may have, just make sure you got the best and that you’re always safe.
Directory submission
I was planning to change the theme of this blog but I think I have to focus more on the site traffic, which is important as I have plan to monetize this site soon. I’ve learned a lot of ways from my online friends but the very simple and easy way for now is with free directory submit so that the site will be indexed on search engine. I remember I’ve done it before but I guess I have to do some work this time. It’s all-free anyway and from what I read this directory submission is a powerful SEO tool. Hopefully later on my site will be easy to find on the net. Goodluck to me!
Save more for 2010
As hubby and I talked about our plans for 2010, the main goal is to save. I admit I shop a lot and for this year, I bought some stuff that’s not really needed but purely my wants. So for the coming year, I will try my best to focus on savings. And as we speak on savings, I learned a way to have savings on medical prescriptions and that is by having together rx access card. All eligible hardworking people with no prescription drug coverage can apply for this card and can avail savings on brand-name prescription products. This is good especially for those people with no medication coverage. A great savings indeed. Will check more about this and hopefully be able to apply too.
Custom Mugs
I love receiving custom mugs from friends or companies as their promotional items. I remember during my son’s christening day, we have personalized mug as his giveaway. His photo printed on it and it’s really cute!
The above photo was one of promotional items and I found it kid friendly. The design itself makes it very unique and anyone would love to get hold of that one. It’s such a nice gift to a friend as well or any relatives. Perfect during this holiday season.
On birthday preps
Three months to go and it’ll be my son’s birthday. As early as now, I’m already listing down some things that I need to prepare. And since there are some holiday sales going on, I took advantage of it and browsed those things that I will need for the party. One of which is for the invites. I’m planning to do it myself so I’m looking for the best digital kit that I can use. I’m also browsing sites for some ideas on how to do the layout and even checked wedding invitations to get color inspiration… It’s somehow time consuming but I’m happy looking at so many beautiful thoughts and inspiration. Preparing for parties could be really tiring but it’s the fun part of it… and knowing that I’m doing it for my son then I’m going to enjoy this…

My handy medical equipment
Having few medical essentials at home can save mommies for a late-night trip to the pharmacy and be able to look after a sick child. And among the medical equipment that I always make sure ready is a thermometer. Right now we have the oral thermometer but for easy temperature reading, I told the husband if we could buy an ear thermometer just like this Braun ThermoScan (photo inset). Also since I’m taking temperature of my son everyday that is being written on their school temperature card being checked by the teacher before going inside the classroom, that will make easy and quick reading.
How about you, what’s handy medical supply you have… ?
Holiday decorations
With the coming holiday, I believe everybody is busy. As for me, not only I’m busy shopping for Christmas gift I spent time also decorating our home with Christmas ornaments. Last week we’re able to put up our Christmas tree though it’s not really done yet. I didn’t know that our Christmas lights already busted so I have to buy a new set. And speaking of lights, some of our lighting needs replacement as well. If budget permits us, I’d like to have one of Hubberton Forge ceiling lighting. Right now, only one bulb working with our ceiling light, hahaha… That’s why I have to include this on our budget for this month.
Hopefully before the weekend I’m done for the holiday decorations. My son was sick that’s why I wasn’t able to finish it all. This Sunday will start our traditional count “the 12 days before Christmas” so I really have to finish everything… I will share photos once done…
