Before I continue my reading on North Carolina health insurance, let me share more template freebies that I have searched. I miss the digital community that I spent time yesterday checking different blogs and looking layouts on the gallery. It actually inspired me to do layouts again so I might dwell on that slowly. Burlap Heart Door Decor
What a nifty idea is this! A door décor for Valentines Day!
Great huh! No it’s not from me. I stumbled this from Craftaholics Anonymous. I heart her blog, got lots of ideas…. She has the tutorial on how to do this.
Well, we don’t really put valentines décor at home. During this day I usually do a heart chocolate shape and my son share it to his friends. For this year 2010 the valentines day happened to be the Chinese New Year day . So I’m sure we cannot find any valentines stuff around but more of Chinese decors, hehe… Nonetheless, since we’re not really Chinese people and we don’t put Chinese décor at home, I might try doing this door décor instead. I think this would be a nice craft to do together with my little boy…
Anyway, I will add that on our project lists. Meanwhile I have to continue with my research on relief for hemorrhoids. You know it’s not interesting at first but as soon I read all the information about the said topic, it became an eye opener to me. Not that I have it but I thought it may lead to that if I will not discipline myself eating the right and healthy food. I guess it’s important to do some of the preventive measures to stay away from getting the illness… it just alarmed me and hopefully everybody will be aware of that too.
Elegant wordart
I usually put word art if I lost words for my journaling. Or sometimes the wordart can be the title and prompt to do the journaling. As I finish reading the different views on glucosamine sulphate, I downloaded elegant word arts by Bethany. She always share a piece of her wordart and that I usually save.

Template Freebies
Howdee! I started my day reading a nice article about colon cleansing. Aside from getting a lot of information and facts about detoxifying and the importance of having our body cleanse on a regular basis, it serve as a reminder to me to focus more on healthy foods. Eating fruits and vegetables should be always on the meal plan.
Anyway after that nice read, I searched looking for digital freebies. However, my focus was more on templates so I will share to you what I found…

All-Star Peanut butter cookies
I was browsing quick recipes for snack and found this All-star peanut butter cookies…
As shown in the photo, it sure an all-star hit to my little boy. Not only it’s simple and easy to prepare, there are only three ingredients to use… and no other preservative or unique ingredients that may lead you to bad breath treatment… Total time would be 20 minutes all in all… Great right!
You may find the recipe below… by the way it’s diabetes-friendly so it’s really great!
Ingredients
* 1 cup(s) sugar
* 1 cup(s) peanut butter
* 1 egg(s)
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets and set aside. In a medium bowl, stir together the 1 cup sugar, the peanut butter, and egg until well mixed. Using your hands, roll peanut butter mixture into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Flatten each ball slightly with a drinking glass that has been lightly greased and dipped in sugar. Lightly grease a small star-shaped cookie cutter; dip in sugar. Press into the center of each cookie.
2. Bake about 9 minutes or until edges are set and bottoms are lightly browned.

Acne scars attack
If our vacation to Manila will push through, I will definitely set a schedule to see my dermatologist. It’s been years already since the time I have my facial treatment and my problem always is discolored acne scars appearing on my face. This what happened once my pimples heal and it develops dark blemishes, which is a condition they called post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I’ve seen a lot of acne scars removal in the market and it describes how it can cure any acne scars but in all honesty I’m a little scared to try as it may cause more problems on my skin. So the best thing is to visit my dermatologist first and she can evaluate the scars and recommend the best treatment right for my skin type. Hopefully we’ll have our trip soon. 
Missing the morning walk
If there’s one thing that I missed with our previous location it’s the morning walk that I have everyday, which I considered my daily exercise. Since our house before was a little bit far from the bus station, we have to walk 8 – 10 minutes passing the Harbour tunnel. But with our present location, no need to do that long walking as it’s accessible to any transportation even to my son’s school bus with just few steps from our building. And that means, no exercise for me now, which I seriously need to put back. And I’m thinking to have a treadmill at home so at least I can do some walking and regular exercise. Hmmm… I wonder if I will stick to that, LOL! We actually have one exercise machine and haven’t used it for a while, hehe… Well, I guess I have to discipline myself if I want to lose weight. And seriously I need it for my own health.

It’s only today that I have my energy and mojo to blog. It may not be a good start of the year, huh! Well, my first week was also spent in front of my Macbook however I’m not blogging… instead, I was busy sorting and doing back ups of our 2009 photos. I’m afraid our hard drive will give up soon as there’s soooo much pictures already. But according to the husband we might get another external hard drive when it’s full. At the meantime, I filtered the photos so that some of my “not-so-nice” shots but need to keep photos was saved online (via flickr) while all the good shots stayed on EHD.
Scrapping wise, I’m hoping I can do layouts this year. I don’t know anymore if I can do a photobook but still part of my projects for this year. My son will be celebrating his 6th birthday on March, and I’m thinking of doing some DIY stuff, so most likely I’ll do few scrapping then… Goodluck to me!
