new beddings for new year
Aside from my personal Christmas wish, I’m planning to get few things for our house too particularly stuff for our room. One of which is new bedding. With the coming black Friday sale, I’m sure there will be a lot of sale on that department and hopefully I could pick few sets that I could use for the coming new year. Some of my favorites are from peacock alley bedding. See how pretty these beddings are…
Love it! So maybe I have to set aside some bucks for this. Anyway we can use it for a long time.. hopefully I could get a good deal.
Excited for Christmas
Christmas this year will be different for us. After 4 years celebrating it abroad only us (hubby, my son and me), now we will spend it together with my parents and siblings with their kids. My son is excited since this would be his first time to celebrate with his cousins and other relatives. As early as now, my sister is thinking of different activities we can do on Christmas day.. a sort of reunion party. We can have games for kids and adults. We can ask our cousins to bring karaoke machines and we can sing all day long, lol! And of course, gift giving will be the main event so I’m sure all kids will have fun… Oh I can’t wait for this Christmas day. Sure a memorable one for all of us.

For a better sleep
Do you have trouble in sleeping? If you say yes, then we’re in the same boat. For the past few weeks, I have a hard time getting a good sleep. I’m afraid I would need a sleep pills for this purpose. But I know taking meds can be a quick fix only. There should be a great way to combat this problem. I read in a magazine that one strategy for a better sleep is to wake up at the same time every day. A good night’s sleep actually starts in the morning. As one of the medical doctors said, “Sunlight activates the brain” And activating it at the same time every morning teaches our body that at midnight it’s supposed to be asleep and at noon it’s supposed to be awake.
Another smart strategy for a better sleep is that don’t work so late. The prevailing thought is that we want to stay late to get the job done but working right up until bedtime is bound to affect our sleep. The truth is that it’s better to get some sleep, and then do more work in the morning. Studies show that after a good night’s sleep, we increased the ability to concentrate means that we can work faster and more accurately.

Cute! I don’t know if this one is real as I stumbled it on the Internet today. And I was smiling when I saw this because this is not the only time that I found things wrap in gold or painted with gold. Well in fairness it looks elegant and very unique. I’m actually looking for a new USB drive and if somebody gives that to me I would be very happy, hahaha… I wonder where to buy one like this… hmmm….
Exercise for smaller belly
Almost everyone is determined to make their belly lose more fat and yes I’m one of them. I’ve been trying different slimming teas for that purpose. Though I can experience the effect, still there’s the problem on the belly, haha… Rapid weight loss pills are another option to consider in losing weight but I’m a little scared trying out pills. Well, everywhere a variety of products as well as devices are introduced in the market for that evasive flat tummy. But I think without a good exercise, the goal of losing weight cannot achieve.
One of the four ways that nutrionists identified to lose fat in the tummy is to have a progressive training in strength. The tummy muscles are designed to flex the torso forward. But, there are also muscles that flex the torso sideward or rotate it. People often work on their belly roller or ab roller for crunches or sit-ups in order to lose more fats. For the stomach to be strengthened, the following exercises can be integrated:
a. Do a 30-second hard exercise like running in place.
b. Do a one-minute moderate exercise like casual jogging or brisk walking.
c. Have a 2- side flexion exercise like side crunches or bends. d. Have a 2-forward flexion exercise like sit ups.
e. Have a 2-rotational exercise like trunk rotation and standing twists.
The above exercise can be done even at home. So I think that’s one thing that I didn’t consider at all—the exercise to strengthened my tummy.

Coin collecting is another hobby that many have. And if you buy gold and considered to collect them that would be one of the most valuable and most expensive collections you could ever have. I remember reading an article, the most expensive gold coin bought was worth around eight million US dollars. This was the 1933 American Eagle Gold. For this reason, the collection of gold coins deserves to be called the hobby of royalty. But there’s more reason why it’s good to collect gold. It can be your savings for the family as it has a lasting value that can be use in times of financial crisis. It’s like enjoying your pleasure while saving for the future at the same time.
diversify portfolio
5 years ago we tried to invest. It’s really something new to us but we are determined to save for our son’s future. Now I’m glad that we take the risks as we realized that it’s totally worth it. We’re checking now to diversify our portfolio and maybe try to invest in gold. Even I have little knowledge about this precious metal, I still want to learn everything about it and if we have the chance and budget I will convince the husband to invest here. By the way my reference is the United States Gold Bureau. I’m reading information and the investor’s feedback from that site. And all I can say it helps a lot to feed my mind with this gold investment. Worth checking.

Next year I’m sure a lot of changes for our family. We’re cooking up big plans and hopefully everything will be in order. I’m a little bit worried though since we don’t know if it will be successful or not but we will never know unless we take the risks, right? I’m also hoping we can divert our portfolio and invest in gold. It’s been discussed that gold is one of good investments in the market today because of its value. Though, I was able to read some articles about this investment, I still need to educate myself and be familiar. Good thing I chanced upon the site of United States Gold Bureau and have a lot of information about gold. A big help for a newbie like me.
