What is Plasma Cutting?

Honestly when I first read this words I don’t know what it is all about except it will be use for cutting. My curiosity then leads me to check and researched on the net what’s the meaning of this plasma cutting. I learned it is ideal tool for cutting steel, and non-ferrous material. Looks like an alternative to a mechanical saw only using electricity. Therefore this is the one I am seeing outside when there is occasional repair and maintenance work. And base on my research, ease of use, higher quality cuts and faster travel speeds are some of its benefits. I’m sure if I’ll go to some manufacturing companies, I’ll be seeing machines like this.
